Forumdz as a platform

I have this idea to address especially to the forum owner, I think that the actual forum format is a bit old and no adapted for web 2.0, 3.0.

I think it should be a good idea to provide access to the content using service layer (REST is the actual "à la mode" approach).

REST is efficient and simple to deploy, then great stuff could be done around as developing mobile devices applications to interact with the forum database and so one.

If you see a little lamp switch on then the idea appeared to you interesting then we can organize our selfs as IT professionals to do simple but effective things to be "à la page".

P.S : just don't tell me why I write in English, the answer is simple, I learned English before French and guess what ? I was there in Algiers and of course I had a very good English professors.

Pour l'interaction Mobile/Database Forum, on a déjà installé le plugin BerryBlab pour inter action avec l'application vBulletin BerryBlab sur BlackBerry

Sinon Java, j’apprécie beaucoup tes interventions techniques sur le forum mais pour l'Anglais vs Français, t'as aucune excuse tu vies & travaille en France

Jette un coup d'oeil sur ce Sujet au passage, ça devrait t’intéresser aussi

Bon , je m'incline pour le Français si ça vous fait plaisir,

la suite, est bien KISS (Keep It Supid Simple),

un use case pour commencer, je suis un jeune Algérien, j'habite à Alger et je possède donc une connexion ADSL (Algerian Débrouille toi Seul et Longtemps)

je boss dans une grosse boite étrangère qui fait du dev, on me fil du boulot à faire à liver pour la fin de la journée et ça concerne une bidouille struts assez casse ... tête.

je tente ma chance sur forumdz et là c'est le drame, c'est le fouille et j'arrive pas à trouvé l'info, pire encore, je ne sais même posé la question.

si seulement je pouvez effectué une demande via un simple tweet ...

et voila par exemple un service qui pourrai être utile, je pourrai en faire une liste infini mais la il se fait tard.

@Samiz_dz : la réponse est simple, l'idée est d'exposer le contenu à travers un service tous simple hébérger sur appEngine, une méthode du genre (findThread(KeyWords) ou findThreadByDate(targetDate) et puis d'autres méthodes genre (retreiveThreadIndex()) ces méthodes font appel à des URL du genre (services.forumdz.com/byKeyWords/"comment devenir riche en deux heures chrono") l'URL renvoie un flux (XML, txt, JSON) peu importe qui sera consommé par la première méthode par exemple.

c'est juste pour l'exemple mais on pourrai faire plus simple, l'interet de mettre un intermédiaire entre le site et le client (appEngine comme intermédiaire) pourrai aider à supporter plsu de demande notamment si l'on passe par des clients pure javascript, l'idée est d'utilisé la monté en charge de Google et bénéficié du cache aussi.

j'ai plein d'autres idées aussi mais il faudra que je vous fassent un Poc pour que vous puissiez voir ce qeu ça donne dans le monde réel.
