  1. To Zinelh, Salam alykoom I am completely aware of what you said and without going philosophic let's take your example, so far you haven't answered the question and I guess you are trying to avoid it. If Algeria is supposed to be a Muslim land and homosexuals are punished by death why isn't this happening in Algeria? AFAIK there are plenty of homosexuals in Algeria but they are not criminalized or being put to death. I don't see sharia being applied in Algeria that's for sure, even thieves hands are not being chopped in Algeria so why do you call it a muslim land? Please answer
  2. Salam alykoom Travmania, Thank you. I agree with some of your points, but I do the same things here where I live, you're right we do work Fridays but I personally and many other Muslims go to Friday prayer and nobody can tell me that I cannot attend it, you see the difference between the USA and other countries like France is that our constitution guarantees freedom of religion, you might not know this but my employer cannot force me not to attend Friday prayer like in France, another thing my wife wears hidjab like many other muslim women and work with no problem because again our constitution prohibits discrimination based on race, gender, religion or sexual orientation. Another thing is like you we have lots of restaurants that serve Hallal food that's not what's missing here beside, the food of the people of the book is hallal too according to the Quran, so I have no problem with that, but I know that Algeria imports lots of meat from other countries, so you might need to verify it's hallal. At the end like you nobody can prevent me from being a Muslim in the USA. Thank you Salam alykoom
  3. Salam Alykoom, To Zinelh, Excuse me I only speak English but I understand written french really well. So I haven't been in this forum for a while and when I am back the first thing I see is this thread which makes no sense to me especially what you are saying. I'd like to ask you a question on behalf of I and probably millions of Muslims around the world, I was born and raised Muslim alhamdulillah in the USA and according to what you're saying I should migrate to a "Muslim land" because some scholars said it's forbidden to live here. I have been around the world to many countries alhamdulillah and to my knowledge there are no muslim lands or countries, I'd like for you to define what a muslim land is? is it because there are a majority muslim people living in Algeria? or maybe you got more mosques than churches? maybe because you hear the call to prayer every salat or the Algerian constitution said Islam is the religion of the state. But honestly pause and ask yourself is it really muslim in the sense of the prophet peace be upon him and early companions dealings. Algeria to my knowledge and experience is one of the most corrupt countries in the world, and please don't take it personal, I myself don't do so whenever somebody talks about the US government and how corrupt it is. When I say corrupt I don't mean your government that's a given thing, I am talking about people themselves and of course not all of them. Look around you and see how filthy the streets are when the Prophet peace be upon him commended us to clean around us because it's charity, I have been to one of the mosques in Algiers for Fajr prayer, there were only two lines of people at the most, tell me where the rest is? heck most people don't know what time is Fajr prayer, why don't go around at night and see prostitution and night clubs and please don't push me further to cite more stories about Algeria it hurts talking about Muslim people and their dealings that are contrary to Islam. I beg you to reconsider your definition of Muslim land please I am not attacking you or any Algerians, I have tons of Algerian friends and neighbors and I really love them but I take issue with what your are saying. Practice religion in your own heart and dealing with other people like Prophet Mohammed defined it, believe me you will see it spread like fire in hay. Start giving advice to your own self and family before giving advice to people you don't know or never seen. Be nice and do good work Salam alykoom
  4. Do you know what DNS scavenging on Win 2003 is? and have you used it?
  5. I looked into the log you posted and I don't see any http 500 error "Busy server" from Apache, that means it is VBulletin that needs some tweaking. Get back to *NIX Server Load Limit and set it to 0. Let's see what happens after this.
  6. Did you do it after this message started or it was setup like that before?
  7. Try Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> *NIX Server Load Limit (sorry, not sure the french translation) make that 5, if that doesn't fix it, then you need to look somewhere else.
  8. Both Have and Have got are used for possession and relationships and they are not different, but sometimes Have got is not possible with actions or experiences, for example you can't say "He is having got a shower" but you say "He is having a shower". if you're not sure which one to use, stick with HAVE. one thing to mention, is that Have got is hardly used in the American English.
  9. As I said ACE is more adopted than Boost, there is a big c++ community using it even Intel.
  10. Boost is a good one, There is another more adopted framework called ACE. Let me know if you need help with network dev.
  11. It is very simple, login into your router by typing http://192.168.1.1 in your favorite browser, then click on ADVANCED on the horizontal menu, click again on the left panel where it says Virtual Server, then you click Add, you'll see a list of NAT ports and addresses to add. Select Custom Server radio box and put anything you want in there as a name, I suggest DreamBox, then put your destination address 192.168.5.25 in IP Server Address. After all that you do: External Port Start : 80 External Port End: 80 Protocol: TCP Internal Port Start: 80 Internal Port End: 80 You fill up the rest of the port as described and then you click apply. That's All. Good luck.
  12. Try to uninstall/install SMTP Service from the control panel. That should fix it.
  13. Is he looking for a Linux or Windows based solution?
  14. I can tell you are a newbie in programming (no offense). Multi-threading can be done with a single processor as well as with multi-core one. Multi-threading in a single core is handled by the operating system where a process (App) is divided into multiple threads concurrently executing. For exemple an application could have 4 threads, a UI thread, network communication thread, a data aquisition thread and a logging thread running independently and sharing resources and memory (this is called time-division multitasking in a single core processor) but in multi-core processors multiple thread or processes can run at the same time (really at the same time no time division). And there are lots of other stuff like user thread and kernel thread ....etc that I can explain later if anybody is interested. By the way, Python sucks (literally) when it comes to multithreading, it doesn't really have a good way of multi tasking because of the central lock (Global Interpreter Lock ), another thing multithreading and parallelism has been around for decades it is not something new.
  15. I would love to help you but it is inappropriate for me and unfair to the owner to show you how to change that label. Besides, since you acquired the software for free, I think the minimum would be to leave the "Powered By" label unaltered to give the owner a fair credit for their work. Thanks for you comprehension.
  16. Your "Powered By" is under \include\config.dat.php, it looks like a binary file, but you can find lots of php code online that would decrypt that for you. Good luck.
  17. if you post the code somewhere, I can take a look.
  18. What is the name of the cms you're trying to modify?
  19. You are not going to find the word "Powerd By" because that's encoded. Try to find the footer section and get the encoded string, and post it here. the encoded string looks like this "80jNyclXyFTPVUhJTc5PSU0BAA==".
  20. Change that value to 2 and restart your machine. Let us know if that fixes it. Thanks.
  21. To be able to store Arabic characters you need to set the collation either at db level, table level or column level, which ever you choose, for example at the database level, you right click on you database in SQL Manager, then you click on properties, then click Options on left pane, you will see the collation drop down at your right pane. For Arabic there are three collation choices Arabic_BIN (binary order) SQL_Latin1_General_Cp1256_CS_AS (case sensitive, accent sensitive) SQL_Latin1_General_Cp1256_CI_AS (case insensitive, accent insensitive) Make sure the columns you're using for Arabic characters are of type NVARCHAR, NCHAR. Hope this helps.
  22. I don't think MS SQL supports UTF-8, it only handles UTF-16 for XML markup, and all NVARCHAR data is stored in UCS-2.
